At ArborAeration we are specialists in the management of trees, with a particular focus on Urban and Veteran trees . We were initially established in 2007 to investigate tree root morphology and the extent of root growth in relation to building design, construction and demolition. Since then we have moved into other areas of tree root management including Root DNA testing, Soil De-compaction, Vertical mulching and Biochar application and now; Tree Radar Surveys.

Air spade Investigation
Soil Decompaction
In areas of heavy use, the soil around trees can become compacted – Leading to poor root development and diminished nutrient and water uptake by the tree. Using our specialist equipment we can counteract this.
Biochar and Mulching
Following soil decompaction, an application of compost/mulch combined with Bio-Char can be added to the soil and allowed to slowly release nutrients over a period of time. Not only does this add essential nutrients and carbon to the soil; it encourages worm and insect activity that further aids soil decompaction.

Have you ever wondered where the roots of a tree go, how far they extend from the stem, their depth or their size? Our Tree Radar Unit™ (TRU) uses Ground Penetrating Radar and advanced, tree specific, computer software to generate detailed images of tree roots and underground features in order to plot root size, position and depth.
Tree Healthcare
Arboraeration are pleased to now offer a fully inclusive Tree Healthcare package for trees in construction zones, the urban environment and veteran trees. Often trees growing in these less than optimal conditions are more prone to stress with up to 60% of all tree health issues being related to to the root network or soil system.
